We had another great goat season with a bunch of great hunters! The addition of the super cub has really been key in our 100% seasons. To be able to scout and still be mobile going where we need to in boats has given us the best of the world of goat hunting. We can’t wait for 2024 season…. we are working toward putting the cub on floats to open a whole new area of hunting.

2022 was a great spring bear season. We had great success on both our brown and black bears hunts off the Alaskan Adventurer. All our updating on the boat has paid off making it a very comfortable platform for our hunts, including new instant hot water heater, a new furnace, house batteries and inverter. We had fun with many husband and wive teams this spring in both our brown bear and black bear hunts. We can’t wait to see what next spring brings!

Not going to lie, 2021 might have been the hardest goat season on the books for PMG. We had earlier snow then we have ever have seen, our hunters and guides worked their butts off and still got it done. Congrats to all the efforts and great times.

100% Success On Spring Black Bears!
We had a great 2018 Spring Season for black bears with 100% success for all our clients. We had a great time with our hunters out on Castaways enjoying Prince William Sound eating fresh shrimp and harvesting big bears. Thanks to our hunters for making it a great year.
We also took out the Crew from Alaska Outdoors TV so watch for that shows airing on the Outdoor Channel this fall.
100% Success on Spring Brown Bears

We had a great spring for Brown Bears this year. We had some serious odd weather patterns with 3″ of snow at sea level during our first hunt, which might be the first in 15 years of hunting the sound. The hunters stayed positive and comfortable on castaways and in the covered skiffs to hunt hard. We saw a good amount of bears on the sunny days, sadly those days just were far apart this season. But we connected all the hunters with great trophies and everyone went home thrilled with their hunt. We want to thank all our hunters as always for being great and making these hunts some the most fun you can have.

We had a great fall hunting season going 100% success on both our Mountain Goats and Black Bear hunts. We harvested a couple nice black bears that went well over the 6’ mark. We also took some really nice goats including a monster that will go Boone and Crocket when it gets official measured after drying period.

Join the PMG Team on the epic adventure of the 2012 season in “Beast of the Boreal II” an action packed Alaska Hunting DVD.
This video is action packed with hunts for Brown Bear, Black Bear, Mtn. Goat, and Dall Sheep – all of which were filmed in 2012!
30+ grueling miles later…across glaciated mountain tops & through endless cirque valleys, an epic adventure ends in success! But honestly it became blatantly obvious that we were already successful before ever even starting our trek! We take for granted the simple physical ability that out bodies can do great things & take us virtually anywhere we want to go.

I thought I had experienced the ultimate adrenaline rush or thrill in the past like coyotes coming in on a string to a voice call your blowing with your hands, wolves howling in the moonlight, a big 30” buck coming into the water hole I’m sit’in at, right on schedule looking right through you. My most favorite or ultimate until this year, the bugle of a big bull elk so close you are nearly face to face and your ears are ringing from the harmonics when he finishes. I had goose-bumps all over my body with each encounter and legs that were shaking uncontrollable like wet spaghetti noodles from the encounters. I’m sure some of you have been here before, some of you want to be, and some of us pray for it each year. All I can say is, “Be careful what you wish for!”
